You probably already know that a Discovery Shop is a great place to get incredible deals on high quality, gently used, donated merchandise, but did you know that it’s also a great place to volunteer? Since 1965, American Cancer Society Discovery Shops have helped support the fight against cancer by raising money and awareness and we can’t do it without your help.
Becoming a volunteer means that you’ll be making a real difference in the fight against cancer – and you may even have some fun. Your ongoing support will further our ability to save lives from cancer by helping people stay well, helping people get well, funding cancer research, and encouraging federal and state lawmakers to fight cancer.
The backbone of the Society is made up of volunteers like you; people who give of themselves to offer comfort and help to those touched by cancer, in California and across the country. As an American Cancer Society volunteer, you truly represent hope, progress, and answers.
